I only came across Odilon Redon's work during this year and I can only be glad for this. He was a french painter of the symbolist movement. There is a very broad range in his artworks, from very absract and colorful backgrounds to pencil drawings of magical-looking figures. I was pleasantly surprised to find his drawing of the fallen angel. His work has greatly influenced me for this project, and I can see that influence in my spread about the leper who was growing sunflowers in his wounds.
